Andiswa Matikinca

Andiswa Matikinca joined Oxpeckers Investigative Environmental Journalism in September 2018 to manage its extractives digital tool, #MineAlert. In 2025, she won an International Anti-Corruption Excellence Award for her groundbreaking work in the Oxpeckers collaboration investigating cross-border lithium smuggling. She is a graduate of Rhodes University, where she majored in journalism, media studies and sociology.
