Harare-raised, Joburg-forged and now Cape Town-based, Michele Mathison is one of our favourite artists. His sculptures, shown on stages across the globe, cut into the economic and political undercurrents of society with wit, subtly and precision. Add to that his generous, engaging nature, and you’ve got one of the most dynamic creatives around – something his answers here make clear.
