The Currency gift guide does… incredibly chic

She’s the type of woman who never ever looks like her hair needs a wash. Even dirty, it’s great. Her lips are always lacquered in the perfect, not too shouty red and her skin is flawless sans make up (thanks, no doubt, to some intervention from an aesthetician with skills).

And as for the diamonds with boyfriend shirt and jeans combo that’s her school-run outfit — it’s the zenith of chic and it makes us mortals seem a mess.

What’s more, she’s always the best read in the book club, has children who seem to modestly excel at everything and somehow she finds time to run a boutique suite of successful companies. If we hadn’t heard her bemoaning the scourge of perimenopause and snort-laughing at an underwhelming husband after a glass of wine, we’d think she was insufferable.
