In the first of a new series, we ask the Woolworths WCellar buying team what we should be having a glass or two of after a hard day at the office. To celebrate the launch of Currency, of course, their first pick is one with fizz!

Our pick for this week:
L’Ormarins Private Cuvée (750ml)

R499.95, Woolworths. Image supplied.

Why we love it:

The first ever Cap Classique made on L’Ormarins estate, this bubbly is a delightfully succulent, fresh, crisp and dry chardonnay/pinot noir blend, with a steady stream of fine bubbles. Subtle hints of orange blossom, marmalade and oyster shell feature on the nose, and on the palate expect grapefruit, lemon and lime with citrus and toasty notes.
