What we’re drinking this week: Inverroche Amber Gin

Fynbos goes fancy – and just in time to make up for missing World Gin Day.

World Gin Day may have come and gone (June 14, in case you missed it), but this beauty gives you a reason to celebrate anyway. It’s a perennial Currency favourite …

Our pick this week:

Inverroche Amber Gin

R539.99 for 750ml, Woolworths

Why we love it:

Inverroche Amber Gin is what happens when fynbos gets a glow-up. Infused with botanicals from the Cape’s coastal dunes, it pours a warm amber hue and tastes like citrus zest met toffee apples at a dinner party. There’s juniper in the mix, of course, plus a whisper of florals before things finish dry and woodsy. Pair it with Clemengold for a zippy G&T twist, or top with ginger beer for a cosier, wintery serve. Elevated, but still a crowd-pleaser.
