You’ve heard heard of landscaping, tablescaping, even manscaping – but what about the “scaping” that involves your trusty silver Hisense or wildly overpriced retro Smeg?

Here’s the deal: people will look inside your fridge, so you’d best make it visually pleasing. In other words, proponents of this alleged “social media trend for 2024” want you to style up your fridge shelves and drawers and make them look pretty.

By this we do not mean putting your various bottles of chilli crisp in neat lines and chucking out the 75 hard to find Korean ingredients you used once in 2021. Or, rather, you’ve got to do both of those things, but then you’ve got to accessorise too.

We’d constantly be knocking those chilled tchotchkes over to get to the mayo, and honestly, what fresh Hellman’s is that?
