You don’t have to convince us about anything when it comes to Tokara. A lunch at the estate, a bottle of olive oil, a glass of wine – sign us up!

Our pick this week:

Tokara Director’s Reserve White

R399.99, Woolworths

Why we love it:

Tokara’s reserve collection sauvignon blanc-semillon is the kind of wine that makes you want to slow down and actually taste it. Bright, juicy and made from grapes grown on the highest slopes of Stellenbosch, it’s all green guava, blackcurrant and a flicker of pink grapefruit. There’s a soft, nutty hint that makes it feel a little indulgent. Drink it now with seafood or chicken, or stash a bottle and watch it get even better.
